I thought thrift stores don’t accept stained clothing if the stain is impossible to get off.

Well, the guy only knew he couldn’t find the shirt at home. His wife didn’t mention that she donated it.

I thought this one had belonged to Jeremy Duncan.

I know when something like this happened. The mother took some of two daughters cloths to a yard sale. Later the father went, saw the cloths, said these will fit my girls and bought them. At least to this day everybody gets a laugh out of it.

The clothes that are too stained or worn to put out on the racks are sold to paper making companies, or bailed and sent to countries where people are a lot less picky about that sort of thing. Only the best 20-25% of clothes actually make it on to the racks.

We donate “gently used” clothing to our church’s annual Shepherd’s Sale (garage sale), where 100% of the proceeds benefit children in need…

My old Plugger is picky about his shirts, likes a certain brand and style. His closet is full of those nice shirts, all of which I bought on eBay. Recycling at its finest!

There are a large number of folks, some are pluggers I assume, who go from garage sale to garage sale looking for bargains for their own garage sales…
