There is an old SF story on the moon where the Americans and Russians have a truce. Someone goes to investigate. Promptly at 1:55PM the base officer screams hit the deck and everyone drops to the floor. They drag the investigator, down. The upshot, is that initially they shot at each other and the bullets have since gone into low orbit thru the bases. The story is absurd but funny.
