Not Babel. I think perhaps Oliver wishes to compare the new Euro to an unfinished cathedral, the most famous of which is La Sagrada Familia in Barcelona and which I believe is being depicted here. Not yet completely built, still growing, a work in progress. And yes, those stars do represent the EU member states.
Unless I have misunderstood Oliver and he thinks one shouldn’t worship the Euro, shouldn’t place it on a pedestal that requires a grand cathedral for it because the recent crises show it is still quite weak and vulnerable.

Andy, they speak German (and well, Turkish, Serbian, and Croatian), and if Roosevelt had been “W”- we probably would too.
