Nothing like being one with nature.

Ranger Dan seems uniquely ill-suited for his job.

Arch. Very arch. Alice is jealous of the weird new girl, whom Miss Bliss is properly protecting and encouraging, while Ranger Dan is looking increasing problematic. He may have gotten this job because of who he knows rather than what he knows. I like Kevin’s apotropaic rhyme, too (sorry, Dill).

Ranger Dan looks as though he could be Ernesto’s father.

I have Wayne Knight cast as Ranger Dan.

Perhaps Ms Bliss would be willing to rub some Tiger Balm on your temples.

Can we have this much fun closer to home?

The long URL shows what you’ll get: maybe even some fish-slapping bears.

If they ever do encounter a fish-slapping bear, I have a feeling Ranger Dan would use Miss Bliss and the new girl as a shield.

After posting the above, I looked at yesterday’s strip again and noted that J_Quest had posted the same thing about Ranger Dan. (Two great minds running on the same track.)I also noted Stella S’s comments about removing ticks. When I was a camp counselor, I went through all kinds of procedures to make the tick let go of the camper’s arm so I could remove it without leaving toxic leg parts embedded. When I found a tick on my OWN arm, I straightway grabbed that sucker and yanked it out!

Could it be that the “weird new kid” is sticking so close to Ms Bliss because Ms Bliss is her Mommy or Aunty?

Geez – I meant “Miss BLISS”! Good thing I put it the next day, so no one will see it. I couldn’t highlight and copy it, either, so am having to add this.
