That cat lives to sleep.

I’m sleeping Monday’s life away. Part of my weekly routine of course.

Cats usually only manage to live about 15 years. Humans, a lot longer. If Garfield weren’t a cartoon cat, I’d say he was wasting his time.

(Yes, I know there are cats who manage to live longer. One of mine lived to around 21, but that’s not the point)

Cats always sleep a lot – from the domestic to the great big ones. Older cats sleep a bit more than younger ones.

If you want somebody to take you on a long healthy walk – just call on Odie.

“Garfield! You can’t sleep your life away!”“Not if you keep waking me up, I can’t!”

With the way today’s world is, I sometimes want to go to sleep and never wake up!

I expect Garfield is the same… Or not.

Garfield forgot to say “Wake me up when it’s tuesday.”

Today’s comic reminds me of a classic, with Jon waking up Garfield in the first panel.

Jon: “Garfield! What’s your New Year’s resolution?”Garfield [upset]: “You just woke me from it!”
