^Less than 10? We had 3 where I grew up – until PBS was added. It was also black & white. But then, we don’t have TV in our house today, so 3 channels was plenty, I suppose.
Off the subject…that’s an odd looking sofa…small in width, and a very high back rest. Perhaps it’s just that I’ve never seen one like it before; they may be common, for all I know. (Sorry if I bored you folks with this comment)
Back in the Good ol Days, when men were men and women were silent, SHE didn’t change the station ever time a commercial came on, returning to the first station just after the detective got the clue that the whole show hinged on, while SHE had the TV on American Idol.
Am looking for a job in Woman’s Rights. Any takers?
I can remember the rabbit ears & NO COLOR. We couldn’t record programs for later viewing & shudder had to sit thru the commercials. Oh wait I have to sit thru them in the theaters today after buying a ticket

now we have over 200 channels and nothing but those reality shows.
just tells me that there are no actual creative writers in the business

When I was a kid we had one channel. Yoou watched that or found something else to do. It made it easy to decide.
