Well it’s not like there are any privacy concerns to worry about.

Sorry to go off-topic here, but I’m looking for a good website. One where I can buy all sorts of knock-off designer products. They have to offer free shipping, and accept on-line 3rd-party payments. Can anyone recommend one for me?

    Just kidding! Spammers flagged.

NoBrandName - sure, just send me your SSN, birthdate, bank account and credit card numbers, along with any applicable pin codes…

Actually, I believe there are people who might actually do that.

When I set up a YouTube account, I noticed a little link on the page labeled “Friends.” Had no idea what it did, so I clicked it and got the notification “You have no friends.” Spent the rest of the day depressed. How did YouTube know?

But now, thanks to the Miracle of Spam, I have thousands of friends! You can too! PYAPAL accepted!!

And I still think we could plug that leaky oil well by stuffing spammers into the end of the pipe. Even if it didn’t work, it would make the world a better place…

Pertaining to the comic, does anyone know if any islands like these stereotypical “castaway” ones really exist? That is, something with the square footage of maybe less than 500 square feet, and one tree? I’d be interested to know.

I’m talking about one that doesn’t have any other island or land within a mile of it.

HabeneroBuck: In Polynesia I believe they are called Motus, usually uninhabited, often larger than 500 square feet, and with more vegetation than a single palm tree. I kayaked to one about a half mile off Rarotonga. (But still inside the reef) I’m sure there must be smaller islets existing, but not for long.

Bring up Google Earth, and check Micronesia… that’s where most of these little sand spits are.

    Here’s a couple:

    7°34’53.65”N, 149°25’49.99”E

Or off the coast of N Carolina…

Yeah, let’s get a government law against spammers! WAIT! We have to have every small community pass it. then every state endorse it. Don’t want to let the federal guys get their hands on something like that. We’d have fried spam sandwiches. Of course, the local website could set up controls and patrol it and CHARGE us for being here. Then we’d get to gripe about paying for the peace of not having spammers. And everyone ELSE could crab about the way business is evil. Sometimes, we just don’t know how good we got it. I may have just done a week of Wiley’s work.
