Sorry, but this comic does nothing for me. I had to read it when it was my “Featured Comic” for weeks. The characters are so unlikeable, and the stories so bland, it makes Dagwood and Blondie seem exciting.
The section under the strips is called “Comments”, and not “Good comments only”: so I really don’t understand why someone wouldn’t be allowed to express an opinion against a comic they don’t like. Well DUH they can stop reading it and finding something else to enjoy, but expressing a “bad” comment (although “bad” is not an appropriate word, as any opinion is good, as long as it is expressed civilly) can also be useful for exchanging opinions among us readers, and confront with each other. People answering the usual, dull “if you don’t like it then why are you reading it” is plain banal. Better answer nothing at all.
Starlett, the key word in your comment is “civility”. I don’t mind someone saying they don’t like a strip. but if it’s done repeated;y I may ask them, why they keep coming back to it.
Is it masochism? Or are they simply trying to irritate? But…. If they do it in an uncivil way, I will get in their face (virtually, of course) and be politely uncivil with them.
It isn’t a transcendant strip, but its themes and punch lines are relevant and fresh and the punch lines will make me smile usually and laugh occassionally.
I don’t understand why davidblack “had” to read it… If I don’t like a comic (or anything else for that matter), I don’t bother with it. Was he being forced to read it at gunpoint or something?

Davidblack,
Here’s a thought - read another comic and stop (complaining) to us.
Gracias,

LOL@DocToon every time I hear of your Nuclear Coffee, I think you’re more Klingon then ever! LMAO
Raktajino (Klingon Coffee) is strong … so strong, most Terrans require 6-10 sugars in it.

Well I think his davidblack’s comments are bunk.
He’s commented six times in less than a year and this is what he chooses to grace us with?
Sounds more like someone with an axe to grind.
