Clayton: We should label our time capsule. Something that says "now".
Katy: Hmm. Salted caramel is really in.
Clayton: Yes! "Artifacts from the salted caramel epoch."
I spent the last few months mastering salted caramel sauces and candies. All of my closest (geographically) friends and family really enjoyed being my guinea pigs and trying out all of my experiments. That stuff is really good!
Just started seeing “salted caramel”…………….that delicious chocolate candy, in squares, and the brand starts with a “G”…………………………oh my! (did I say chocolate?)
Salted caramel is sooooo over. It was named flavor of the year by the NYT in 2008! 2015 trends are Texas grapefruit and middle eastern spices like zatar.

Carmel covered pretzels are the bomb. I can never find them: their manufacture is difficult/expensive to automate.
