Thank you so much to all my friends here for your recovery-greetings, prayers and blissful thoughts – Thank you, thank you, thank you! Thanks to Mr Graham Harrop – through his comics here I have found such great friends! You all are so wonderful, I love you!
A sad story for me: When I had to go for emergency with my colostomy and hernia, I knew, Blitzi, my sweet tomcat was already on his way to the rainbow bridge. He lost weight and ate from day to day less. But he was waiting til I come back from hospital. And yesterday, oh what a very sad day for me, he died in my arms. My sweet Blitzi, how brave he was waiting for me. Thank you, Blitzi, to share 16 wonderful years with me!
Marge, glad to hear you are feeling better. Poor Blitzi waited for you, and that was sad and sweet of him to do.What a good friend you lost, I pray you may give another deserving kittie a home and a warm lap one day when your heart has healed.Chester thought somebody said snooze, instead of news..
Oh Marge!!! I’m so sorry your homecoming was a bittersweet one. Thank you for the love and companionship you gave to your “Fur ever” friend. You were both blessed to have each other.. (((((((((HUG)))))))))
Marge So very sad, but he waited for you so he could say goodbye.
I have had 2 dogs die in my arms, Charlie Girl and Susie, and 2 cats, Puss Puss and my little Hannah Bee, Puss Puss’s daughter. It’s never easy. The only comfort I had from those experiences, were that I didn’t have to make the decision, like I had 2 with my other cats and dogs.
I hope there is a Rainbow Bridge, because if there isn’t “I ain’t going”!
Update on the Van Campaign:After four days of no donations i got a $500.00 donation.I was starting to get a little bummed out, to be honest. It was a bit of a wake up call. I may have periods of inactivity, but it is no reason to give up.On a different note, I’ve been pricing new bare bones commercial vans, in hopes of trying to cut costs. The idea being, get the van first, then install the lift/ramp.Its an idea I’m going to keep working on, but i don’t think that i would save much that way.Again, i think that, eventually, ill end up with a used unit.
Marge, I am so sorry to hear about Blitzi. It is always hard when we lose a loved one. Will keep you in my prayers. Has anyone heard from Gweedo? I know he’s on the road but doesn’t he usually check in? >^..^<
