    That’s bizarre. When I was a kid of Petey’s age, there was a defect in my bedroom ceiling that I stared at to put myself to sleep. It was a bumpy old lath & plaster ceiling, and the nightlight in the hall hit the spot at just the right angle to make it look (with a heaping dose of 6-year-old imagination) like one of Sendak’s wild things.
