Hi, Eldo Disc Golf. I’m not really sure why “Lila” uses hand gestures. I think it’s mostly to help differentiate panels. The drawings are pretty simple, as you can see, and hand gestures may help mix it up a bit. Regarding hand gestures and Italians, I don’t think it’s racist, and as an Italian-American, I have noticed my family using hand gestures often. But I’ve also noticed that many other groups use their hands when they speak. African-Americans, all Europeans, etc. Perhaps Italians are associated with it because of mafia television shows and movies.

I get a lot of hand gestures when I’m driving. I think go too slow for some people.
