Walt’s longevity is unbelievable – time for him to pass away peacefully in his sleep

Since GM was founded in 1908 and the Wright brothers first flew in 1903, he was in fact around at the time of both.

My granddad (RIP) told me that when was young, he complain about gas prices going up…from 10 to 15 cents!

In panel 4, I hope he’s not going to put that gas where it looks like he’s heading . . .

The planet has no right to complain. It’s what gave us the petroleum in the first place.

My grandmother lived from the Wright brothers to the moon landing. I’m holding out for a manned Mars mission.

Well here in Saskatchewan it was $1.09/liter, but suddenly went up to $1.24/liter. Reason given – a refinery problem in Indiana. What a refinery situation in Indiana has to do with the price of gas in western Canada I’ll never understand, but then I only use mass transit and my bicycle.

I believe there is a secret pact that was made between all the creators of GA, King, Moores and Scancarelli to keep Walt alive as long as GA exists. Jim may eventually put Walt in the Comic Rest Home and we’ll see him on rare occasion.
