I remember my brother and I playing in a dump on Mother’s Day. My brother fell and almost cut his patella ligament clean through. I was barefoot and ripped my foot open on a nail to the point that actual ligamentous tissue was hanging out. My Dad took the whole family to dinnner that night. My brother and I were limping around. My Dad being the tough military guy thought we were being big babies till he finally had us show him our cuts. We ended up going to the hospital after dinner; both of us getting stitches. Happy Mother’s Day.
Snow Tires: I suddenly remember my Dad putting chains on the tires so we could get to church on Sundays. I can still remember hearing the sound that they made.
