So that explains it. My mutual funds must be going through an extended childhood.

Gertie is finally hearing the correct song Byrd is playing.

Joel and Rufus are the Sunday stars, but it’s nice to see Gertie and Terry again— and to hear at least a mention of Earl. Time for the Bird-man to return.

Unfortunately, all funds will be going through a second childhood soon…

I’ve always heard this as a joke about drummers. Here’s another one: “How do you get a drummer off your porch? Pay him for the pizza.”

Hopefully this is the start of another six month long Gertie and Byrdie story, with tons of puns and loads of old jokes…

Are there any new jokes, really? Old jokes are like old recipes and old songs: if it’s a good one, and someone can pull it off skillfully, I’ll enjoy it.

Great to see Terry and Gertie again!! Gertie deserves a break from being a care provider once in awhile. Enjoy the hamburger Gertie, you deserve it with all the animals visiting you and Walt lately.
