Hey guys, I missed the strip. Did someone say our wives are going on strike? Poker at Russell’s house at 5!

Sounds like the stereotype of union mentality. Not all are like that; but unfortunately for their membership, the union bosses are.

I think they can live with that, Broomie.

You’re on the right track, but you need to replace “strike” with “zap” and then adjust the anticipated effects accordingly.

Good satire this morning…really does reflect well the mentality and lack of sense unions use to rule over industry and we the people. Without the government providing them monopolistic power over us unions would simply go away…they cannot compete with Americans!

funny, i thought unions were made up of Americans. Unions rule over ‘we the people?’ what country are you living in? it’s not the unions that have monopolistic power by any stretch – these days they have virtually no power. substitute “corporations” for “unions” in your absurd diatribe and you’ll be closer to the truth.

Just look at GM’s position. We can thank the unions for the jobs going overseas.

If the unions were disbanded tomorrow, they’d be necessary again the day after that.

They haven’t been “necessary” because they are around. Get rid of them and they’ll be necessary again all right, just like fritzoid says!

Thank you, JP Steve, that is precisely what I meant.

If the bad guys know you’ve got a watchdog in your yard, you might go years without actually needing him. If they know you got rid of the dog, they’ll rob you blind first chance they get.

Considering Broomie’s tendency to zap people, would it be a lightning strike?
