So, you know the story behind the M&M’s, right?
It wasn’t a star exercising his ego.
Midway through a concert contract Van Halen inserted the M&M’s clause.
If it went into the dressing room and didn’t find a bowl of M&Ms (minus the brown ones) he knew that the contract had not been completely read,
It would then be necessary to ensure all the power, lighting and other requirements in the contract had actually been done.
