Allen just wants a little alone time….
He just wants an excuse to chow down on baked beans and Spam, his guilty pleasures.
Well, Alice, if you want to risk it, that’s up to you!
Oh, I have a weakness for Alfred Hitchdog movies. This was a good one:

Well there is Hurricane Alice…
Many Hitchdog films were based on that premise, but weren’t so obviously named.
Good morning, basset-movie-loving pals…
We have another great poster from StelBel….
in the June 9th 2020 “CLEO and COMPANY”… on Sherpa.
And it’s another Hitchdog!
Yay!
This one isn’t scary, like some of them…
but it’s tense… a psychological thriller…
about a poor innocent doggie accused of things he didn’t do.
Just look at Henry Hounda’s soft, questioning eyes.
Wondering what he did, and whether he’s the hound they’re after.
Hard to think of any basset being being the wrong
especially with Hounda’s sweet face.
But in this case, being the wrong one is a good thing…
it would mean some other dog was actually the guilty one.
But you know how dogs are…. just look at your dog as though he’s guilty of something, and he’ll act like it’s true.
And Henry Hounda’s big sad eyes made him look guilty anyway….
no spoilers….. but let’s just say that wasn’t helpful….
especially during his trial… which took such a toll on his loving mate….
the always beautiful, silky-furred Vera Kibbles.
Poor doggies!
You’ll need a large bucket of kibblecorn and a whole box of Kleenex to get through it!
That’s why we should all go together… it’s easier to handle the suspense and the sad parts that way.
BTW… of course the humans copied it…
As you can see, they even found an actor who looked a lot like a basset!
Well… close, but no see-gar.

There are several movies on that theme by Hitchdog, and all of them are ingenious.
Henry Fonda came to the set of Once Upon A Time In The West with brown contact lenses. Sergio Leone immediately told him to remove the contacts. He felt that Fonda’s blue eyes best reflected the cold, icy nature of the killer.
Is Henry Hounda wearing contacts?
Hounda is one of my all time drama favs.
Good MORNING Ballardeers! 88 phun philled days of … um … uh … stuff! Yeah stuff.
Another Stel-lar poster of our favorite breed of stars.
I’ll be Henry Hounda likes to nibble on Vera Kibbles.
I love all of Hitchdog’s movies. (Well, almost all of them.) Susan has a great idea about going to see this one as a group so won’t be scared.
Good afternoon Balladeers, (((((Plods))))) and Miss Susan!
