Yes it’s time for another grill, you got your money’s worth.
Right now I’d move that stand, get some bricks from behind the garage, prop up the rack and start cooking.

With enough lighter fluid, he can work with it.

The 2010 commenters pretty much covered it. Chet, you need a new grill!

Lower your standards – and the position of whatever that burnt stuff over the coal is.

It’s OK – those in the cars don’t watch the movie anyway.

Â
Here I come…. sneaking in late… to welcome you to the comments for the
June 12th  2020 “CLEO and COMPANY”
Â
Which you can find on Sherpa….if you’re brave enough to look.
The first film, or so I’m told, to be called a “blockbuster,” though that hardly seems possible, does it.
Lines wrapped around the block that summer… dogs everywhere, with and without their humans…
sniffing, play-growling, tails wagging, leashes tangling.Â
To keep out puppies, the theaters were told to say that unaccompanied dogs had to be 14" tall….
which only served to anger the adult chihuahuas and yorkies….
and let in Great Dane and Newfoundland pups, who disrupted the showings by running out yelping in the middle of climactic scenes.
Â
Strangely, Jowls didn’t scare me…. even though I’m a known wuss…
and all around me, puppies and children were crying, and grown mastiffs were hiding their eyes.Â
I think it was the fact that, in spite of the millions spent on effects, the basset shark always looked animatronic to me.
I never really fell for it.Â
Well, except… there was that one chilling moment….
I think the movie has forever changed the way I react if someone starts singing….
“Show me the way to walk home….
I’m tired and I want my doggie bed…
I had a little kibble about an hour ago…… "
YIKES!

GOOD MORNING BALLARDEERS! Q – 91,323,467. Yay! Still standing!
I loved Jowls. Which, of course, is another Stel-lar production.
Y’all be safe out there. (((((HUGS)))))

Chet’s lucky some of those hot coals didn’t bounce into his shoes and pant cuffs.

Funny how just a few notes of music can send shivers down your spine…….even when you are just reading them.

When our younger daughter was only 5, we wouldn’t let her watch the movie. To this day she still hasn’t seen the movie!
Now, if “Jowls” was available then, we might have allowed it. Or at least provide a large enough couch.
Love how the Great White Basset floats to the raft.
