    Eh; I was a radio/televison/communications major, wayyy back in the ‘olden days’ of the 1980s.

    We had a few ’Jeri’s (both female & male) who mainly aspired to be on-camera .. but most of us were aiming for the more technical side of things; audio/video editing, camera work, copy writing, etc.

    It was a fun several years. Probably 75% of what I’d learned there was made obsolete within the following decade, though .. and things have changed even more between the time this story originally ran (in 2005) and now. XD

    Poor Jeri doesn’t even realize she is being insulted. Insert Blonde joke here. How many blondes does it take to change a light bulb. One. But it takes a red head or a brunette to tell her to turn the bulb around and put the skinny end in the socket. How many blondes does it take to change a light bulb? Thirteen. One to stand on the table to hold the bulb in the socket, and twelve to rotate the table.

    For Fox “news” and some local stations. Not MSNBC they want people with education and experience.
