Listen Warren, you might want to ask Russell for direction on building a real man’s man ramp. Nobody is going to admire you and that, that,,,,board.

A few of us get together once a week for tea and…….well I’m not naming names like Bev and Shika and Susan and LadyKat or me, We have snickerdoodles and discuss crocheting….yeah, that’s it.

Warren used to be the life of the party…in fact, you might have said he was the neighborhood clown…

He also hosted his own club….

But recently, he has started brooding, questioning his purpose in life…. a sort of mid-life crisis he forgot to have in mid-life…

Trying new activities, trying to fit into new social circles…but for some reason, always a bit ill at ease.

It has brought him to the downhill slope he faces today… on wheels.

It isn’t like him, Linda thinks.She HAS to get the real Warren back.

And she knows what to do…

Time to bring out the heavy weaponry….Just wait till he walks in the door tonight!

Great past Ballard Street comics to embellish on this story. Kudos for even getting up on those roller skates, Warren— Do you ever think that everything you have done in your life has brought you to this point. Never thought I would be spending my mornings drinking coffee and reading umpteen comics……….well, drinking coffee – yes. These comics are a great way to start my day, though.

What you should be wondering about, Warren, is what is going to be propelling you from this point…

As far as I’m concerned, it’s only a libation if has good alcohol in it ! That stuff is just foo-foo water !

While shopping today i got a chance to see a Dodge Minivan with a side door conversion.It is plenty big enough to take a client in a full size chair. A little tight getting in for one of my clients, but still doable. I would have to temporally remove his head rest.The width is better than it looks from a distance.All i need now is the money to buy one.I have not been looking in daily to see how many visits I’ve recived.If the number is low, i get discouraged. No one os looking.If the number is high, i get discouraged. No one cares.

We are under a thick blanket of smoke up here. I smells like you are downwind from a campfire. Most of Eastern Washington and Oregon is ablaze.Say a quick prayer for the firefighters….we’ve lost 3 already.

I am SO glad you didn’t name any names! How embarrassing if they found out what we really discuss when we get together! Life in the fast lane, right? Er, Crocheting, I mean.

Ive considered putting GoComics on it.Or even Ballard Streat & Ten Cats and others on it.Just as a thank you to all of you.

Im also considering calling it Gray Hare Transit.

Northern California is also having a terrible fire season, because of the drought.

Where I live, we’re not presently threatened (knock wood)…and they’re too far away for us to smell the smoke.

But I know people in Lake County, 50 miles northeast…. where a huge fire was just contained after burning almost 70,000 acres….

Luckily, it was stopped just a few miles short of the small city of Clearlake, population about 8,000.

This was taken two weeks ago….before the so-called Rocky Fire was contained:

Month before last i sold my gas guzzling pickup truck to my brother for a thousand dollars. Ive been siting on that money. I have been hoping to come across a small pickup to replace it. Something that i could pull my little utility trailer with.Well, I’ve decided that just isn’t going to happen. Im not going to find a pickup worth having for a thousand dollars. Pipe dream.So, Tuesday I’m going to go to the bank and put that money into the account that i am using for the GoFundMe money.With the donation i got today it will bring my fund up to $3,000.00. (Less the fees that GoFundMe charges.)I will pursue a little truck after i acquire a van.

Happy…. the Rocky fire (still burning a bit, but contained) was just east of Hwy 53, and barely jumped 20 to the north…

It had been headed west towards Clearlake… would have had to go quite a distance past that to reach Kelseyville.

Another fire was just contained a bit farther south, in a mostly uninhabited area near Lower Lake and Middletown.

Luckily for those who live in Kelseyville, Nice and Lakeport, and other towns on the western end of the lake, all the fires so far have been east of it.

Is it true what I hear that some of these fires are arson? That is horrible if true.

Ive ben in contact with MPJ. I like your idea.
