Dad: I remember when you liked me to read bedtime fairy tales. Gracie: You still could if you want! Dad: But they kept you awake! Gracie: True. Gracie: But only because they were filled with scientific inaccuracies.
I’m a agnostic (I’m more in line with Albert Einstein’s way of thinking when it comes to religion) and I agree with Apikoros, the Bible (any form of it) has caused more violence and wars than anything else.
It’s sad these days that people have to interject religion, politics or other crap into a comic strip designed just for laughs. What’s happened to just good old humor?
While I would not say that everything in the Bible is accurate, saying that “nothing” in it is historically correct is flat out wrong. If I recall, at some point they found ancient Roman tax records for Joseph & his son Jesus, so we know that the people involved did, in fact, exist. The part that is open to debate, is their actions.
this does seem out of character. it does stress how smart she is, but normally she has an ample amount of imagination.—take this one back to the drawing board
The Bible is a collection of semi-fictional accounts, morality tales, and personal memoirs that spans centuries. Saying ‘it’ is or is not historically accurate is absurd.
