I don’t think I’ve ever seen Celtic knotwork with loose ends, so how in the world would you untie those boots?.Or is that why a Scotsman always has his skean dhu?

These are Irish boots…that’s why they’re wearin’ th’ green.
No Scotsman’s gonna shop in a place that features green boots!
I’ve never seen any quite like the ones in the picture…but Irish dancers often wear gillie boots….
And both Scottish and Irish ceremonial uniforms are worn with ghillie brogues…
You wouldn’t want to lace either while standing up, unless you put your foot on a chair.
