For this comic I always hit the “previous day” button to see all the comments. Strange how yesterday arrived so late.

Hullo Ten Cat-sers….

I don’t want to interrupt the show here at Mousies…(I can just hear somebody yelling “Down in front!”)..but I have to clarify something.

I was told on another forum that some people here on Ten Cats think I’m in touch with Ruth, and have been receiving more information about her condition, which I haven’t shared.

Well… I wish I did have any kind of update… but if I did, there’s no way I would have held back the news from this forum…I know everyone here is as worried about her as I am.

I only received that one short e-mail, which I rushed here to report, in which she said, in very abbreviated form, that she’d had a “small stroke” and would be back here as soon as she was able.

In fact, I just read elsewhere that it was a TIA, which is not something Ruth told me…so I thought she’d been in touch with another correspondent, or maybe even posted here herself.I was planning to come here to look for news, myself…

Unfortunately, I’m not the bearer of any.

I’ve written to Ruth a couple of times. and I’m hoping she’s soon well enough to answer, and then to return.If she does write to me, I’ll post everything I know, as soon as I can…. I promise.Meanwhile…. did someone actually hear that it was a TIA, which is usually much milder than a full-blown stroke?Thanks. :)

Strange all the comments on all the sites I post on…..are repeating themselves.hmmmOKAY This is important. You should all have at least one poster’s email. In case something (heaven forbid) happens, leave instructions to email that person with the details.. I have Queen’s and she has mine, and my daughter knows to email her if I get sick.

managed to catch both boys mid-meow though it looks more like they’re sassing me off than saying hi :)

Still saying Ppyfss’ and Ruth’s names throughout the day and hope that we hear from them soon.

@2old: You are right that all of us should exchange e-mail addresses with 1 or 2 other posters. I’ve written down Queen’s and Ladykats. Only Queen has mine so far. My son is aware of my association with TC.

Gweedo – thanks for the update. I hope she starts feeling better soon. At least the surgery is over.

Gweedo I see the “reply” button is broken as well.I am so grateful that Pam came thru surgery and is doing as well as can be expected. (did that sound official?)the first few days of any surgery is rough, but she is one tough lady and will do well, And you can tell her I said so!Thanks for the update, You are the person I"d want for a friend!

I have let my goddaughter know about this place and how important it is to me.Im hoping that if something did happen to me, she would et all of you know.

Gweedo – Thanks for the update. She said she’d be home on Wednesday – Tomorrow! I had hoped that wouldn’t be the case, she needs rehab, can’t do it alone. I couldn’t imagine them allowing her to do that. She’s worried about the ‘kids’ though, hope someone will feed and ‘scoop’ them every day, they’ll be wondering what’s happened and she’ll be a wreck worrying about them.

Ah it worked, I deleted one and the first one is still there..yippee.

I saw the post about a “small stroke” and assumed it was a TIA. Sometimes people call them that. I do hope she didn’t have another stroke. Did we get an alternate contact for Ruth?
