Thirteen years ago, I fell and broke my hip. It wasn’t until a long time after I had healed that I learned that many people die from breaking a hip. Glad I didn’t know that at the time. It took four months to heal. I wouldn’t wish that on my worst enemy.So please don’t be flip about anyone falling — and don’t laugh until you see her get up and laugh with you.

Falling from an altitude is tragic but falling from level is funny, why? perhaps because we know chances of getting hurt is almost nil.
