Somewhere on board the R.U. Sirius there is a very large cargo hold full of Winky spleens.

Either that or they use a modified food replicator to get new ones. (Sorry, first Star Trek analogy that came to mind.)

There was a TNG episode were they replicated a new spine for Worf.

I blamed black holes for losing things years ago (before a lot of people even heard of them - other than geeks). I still seem to have one that follows me around like a puppy. At least it’s housebroken.

Sure, black holes are clean… it’s the white holes that aren’t housebroken.

I remember The Twilight Zone (modern version) had an episode that had these trans-dimensional purple people who picked things up when you weren’t looking.

dkram, I knew there was a subconscious memory of TNG somewhere, but what triggered the thought was seeing “The Trouble With Tribbles” recently… thanks! :)

They’re not supposed to be there?!?

I have never figured out why a white hole should emit anything, it still has the gravitation fighting anything leaving.

Oh well, if I meet one, I’ll ask it.
