Not often that Flo gets the better of him.

You can complain all you want about your mother in law, just not to your wife.

I don’t remember Flo’s Dad ever being mentioned, just her Mum. Of course, Andy’s Mum can (almost!) out-drink Andy himself. There was one time when Flo told Andy he would never miss anybody but himself. Andy turned to the reader and commented, “She’s wrong, yer know. I miss me grandmother—she used to stop me Dad from thumpin’ me!” I don’t offhand remember any other mentions of Andy’s Dad in the strip.
