Hi, cleo & Carmy!! Yes, our weather has been pathetic! We had 2 days with record low high temps in a row last week. But I DID get to take a helicopter ride from Seaside to Cannon Beach & back yesterday! Got a good enough break for that but it was a narrow window.

There is a misconception about rain in the PNW. Dry, I bet you get more rain than we do in a year. Do you know how much rain you get in a year?

My boss’s daughter lives in Portland and she was visiting one day not long ago, it was drizzling, cloudy, and the clouds were low in the sky, more like fog. She said she felt like she was back in Oregon.

Dry, doesn’t your newspaper give average rainfall amounts. We for instance have a daily tally for rainfall and temp and it is matched against averages.

You could also think of textured as in ribbed for your pleasure. snerk.
