“We need to talk…..” Tried and trite line from every drama.

How four little words can scare a man out of his wits, even when it’s not him.

At least it’s not a TV show called “Bachelor Father”.

“We have to talk” is scarier than “It’s ALIVE! ALIVE!! Bwa-ha-ha!”-I had a girlfriend who used to say that to me whenever I did something she didn’t approve of, as a break-up threat.One day she said it as we were pulling into the parking lot of a theater. I threw up my hands and said, “That’s IT!” I dumped her, then and there. She couldn’t believe.

Oh come on guys, men say it too.

“It’s not you, it’s me….sorta”.

This is a scary line to many men… unless you already know how to be the man that she needs and have a proven record of demonstrating it. Building trust in a relationship takes hard work and courage, and goes a long way to improving the level of happiness for both of you.

Jon, on the other hand. apparently still has a bit of angst.
