Gotta give the new guy a chance. I always resent the replacement, but he always seems to grow on me (with the exception of the guy following Peter Davison, whose name I still block, and Sylvester McCoy).
I agree with sefekhaabuiti.( Give him a chance! He is quite different from any I’ve seen, but that’s not necessarily a Bad Thing. ) After all originally Dr. Who was written as a childrens show.
Can’t go back on your own timeline! This Doctor, while no David Tennent, is actually growing on me. We’ve lost Russel Davies too, so we’re dealing with new writers.
I like the new Doctor, I mean, he has a bowtie. I wear bowties and this Doctor says they are cool! Now Amy, I’m not fond of her, too aggressive and know it all like. It’s hard for these actors to follow up the great actors that came before them.
Regarding the comic: I love the look Sophie is giving dad here, classic!!!

The Doctor occasionally crosses his own path. When you get around that much, it’s bound to happen.
Sophie understands that Billie’s problem was that you can’t change things. Temporal distortion waves are viscious. Entire civilizations could cease to have ever existed.
& 10 minutes? They quit putting shorts between double features a long time ago.
The Daleks’ voices are the coolest! Easy to imitate, too.
I’ve just started watching this again and notice that the stories and premise have not changed much. The new doctor is VERY energetic, tho–makes me tired to watch him.
I like the new Doctor, though no one will surpass Tom Baker in my eyes. I like Amy, though she’s solving a few too many problems that should be left to the Doctor. Only he should be that clever.
While that does make sense, occasionally I watch an episode of some sci fi show where in the end some time travel or cosmic reversal happens and the whole episode is basically “undone”, and I end up feeling cheated, like I just watched and episode that never happened!

Hope he grows in the role, or least writer can. If you replace him, you shorten life of the entire series!

Didn’t the Doctor cross his own timeline when his hand brought him to the future to prevent Jenny’s death and they arrived early and caused her birth?
Umm, that question actually makes more sense if you’ve watched the episode.

Matt Smith is no David Tennant but then again, I didn’t like it when David Tennant took over either. He grew on me though. Maybe Matt will too.
However, no companion can beat Billie Piper. IMO

Dr. Who went back in time and met Dr. Whom.

But that’s not good for the script!!! (Sophie gets it).

Any place you can go back in time and meet yourself is something that The Doctor cannot do! Sophie’s too smart for her human.
