“In the shadows, “Let me come and sing to you. “Let me dream a song that I can bring to you. “Take me in your arms and let me cling to you, “Let me linger long, “Let me live my song.”

Sally Rand, and her theme song “The Shadow Waltz”

(No, I’m NOT that old, I just like that kind of music! But on the other hand, how many guys do you know nowadays who can tell you what Sally Rand’s theme song was! Or even know WHO Sally Rand was! ;-)

Up near Detroit, they have the Windsor ballet, and they don’t keep their clothes on (so I’ve heard)

The ballet wouldn’t work down here in the South; they’d keep runnin’ into the pole!

And then there was the Scottish priest who got a ballet dancing troupe to perform for is congregation’s Christmas party.

The only thing is that the way he pronounced it, it turned out to be a belly dancing troupe!
