Ah… the first of her siblings to reach the ‘Undiscovered Country’. It might not be a bad thing, might be a better thing than she had before; better than any of us has had before… We’ll only know when we reach there ourselves.

Or… she gets to meet HOMER face to face; so to speak.

Needless to say, her siblings are happy, I’d think…Is this a Charley Sheen sort of contest? First one to OD wins?

I bet her siblings think she left the world a better place….she left it.

It’s like an explanation I once heard for life insurance. The company makes a bet that you’ll live long enough to pay more in premiums than the amount of the policy. If you die young, you win!

Now that can be the best attitude or excuse for making it as a winner. Kinda hard to define her success. She must realize that they let her down in a way.

If Bernice’s sister had died first, Bernice could go around bragging about how she had lived longer, thus had won. Either way, she wins!

With an attitude like hers, I wouldn’t brag about where she got to first…..
