I don’t understand why she couldn’t just delegate those licenses to someone else in the office. I read that she is pulling down 80 grand a year, pretty good money for a relatively simple job. I wonder if she is getting paid while in the house of the many sliding doors.

She reminds me of the guy who refused to fight because it was against his religion. He was a very devout, practising coward.

An airline just suspended a flight attendant for not serving liquor because of religious beliefs. If you don’t want to do your job, QUIT!

@Meowlin Re. your comment yesterday about Article VI of the Constitution: You must be referring to “…no religious test shall ever be required as a qualification to any office or public trust under the United State.” It doesn’t change the fact that the argument for a separation of church and state is 1) not a wording in the original Constitution or the Bill of Rights (which IS a part of the Constitution), and 2) was stated as a protection for the churches from government control. The modern interpretation as protecting government from religion came later.

I’ll bet Ms. Davis is one who doesn’t want Shariah law. She thinks her god’s “laws” are better than some other god. There have been hundreds, if not thousands, of gods in human history and all are based on fable and legend. Oh, and I thought we were a country of laws, not just the laws we agree with!

Every person is to be in subjection to the governing authorities. For there is no authority except from God, and those which exist are established by God.

.The reason for the above quote: If you are a Christian who interprets the scriptures literally, then you believe that all authority and laws are ordained b God; this includes the Supreme Court of the United States and the decisions they hand down. Therefore, the decision to allow same-sex marriage was ordained by God..This is not my personal view, nor fortunately was it the view of the Founding Fathers of this country who rebelled against the King.

Why is it that civil disobedience is only honoroed when it’s leftists disobeying laws they don’t like?
