Not necessarily. I had a skating buddy whose parents refused to pay for more lessons because she could never pass her compulsory ice dance tests. Turns out she was “rhythm impaired.” She had no ability to stay on the beat – to this day she never claps along at concerts because she looks like a total spaz as she’s unable to clap on the correct beat.
