Propane is rated at 2515 BTU per cubic foot.Natural gas is rated at 1030 BTU per cubic foot.Natural gas jets are designed to deliver 8 to 10 % Natural gas to air.Propane jets should deliver 4 to 5% propane to air.A natural gas jet using propane delivers so much fuel that not all of burns immediately (a too “rich” mixture), resulting in a buildup of unburned fuel, that will produce a fireball when it is mixed with enough air (and has an ignition source, such as a pilot light or ignited burner).
The reverse, using propane jets with natural gas, results in not enough fuel being mixed with the air (a too “lean” mixture), resulting in the burner or oven not igniting immediately, permitting the fuel air mixture to build up unburned until the pilot light finally ignites it, resulting in a deflagration fireball.

Skeezix should have known to do what Walt did. But then we wouldn’t have had the Jack Benny flash back. heh heh

Yes, didn’t Skeezix run a fix-it shop in the ‘40s? He’d know what to do. Regardless, it is nice to see Walt in the limelight again.
