Chepe: A 14-year-old whiz kid in Texas was arrested at his high school for bringing a homemade clock to school. Pepe: Are you sure he was American, though? I mean, because he actually built something.
well, it was a really old radioshack alarm clock that he ripped the guts and screen out of, and shoved into a briefcase looking pencil case. `Nobody really knows what happened, but my theory is the school didnt want to take any chances on it since they knew who his parents were.`That said, was it an over reaction? yes. No bomb squad was called, and they did it way too publicly.
If I had something that looked like that brought into my classroom by anyone, I would send the kid to the office with it. Maybe that’s over reacting, but I would rather have people laugh at me for over reacting than take the chance that a wing of the building and a bunch of kids were going to explode. ( I don’t mind much if he blows up the office)
Cue the PC police to run around knocking heads. Obviously the press has a convenient loss of memory. How many times have kids been suspended for making a gun out of Poptarts or their own fingers and the press covered it and that was it. The school systems cry that they have what is called a Zero tolerance Policy. The schools are shamed and end of the story. In this case because the child was of Middle Eastern descent even our President got involved. Definitely a case of over reaction by the school and over reaction by our PC police.
I like that we assume he’s refering to the kid being a Muslim/Arabic/brown person, but was referring to having sent most jobs overseas that we don’t make much anymore.

Also, pretty dirty slam at the American worker. Aren’t Pepe and his friend Americans?

Air bomb! No explosives necessary! Wires can explode! Beware your walls! Your car contains wires! It’s a bomb! It even contains an explosive!

But he didn’t build anything. He took something apart. The joke doesn’t work
