What’s painful about this is the “couple” part isn’t “written in stone” just yet, is it? So far they’ve established themselves as “friends” (better than “not friends”!) but this still hasn’t cleared all the hurdles, just yet! Remember, she’s new at p.s 38, and it’s going to be a loooooong school year!MEANWHILE: It will be great if this story arcs into Halloween week, with the usual hilarity involving costumes, tricks ‘n treats, Marty’s surprise treat-‘o-the-year, etc…..whatever happens, remember that Mr Peirce wrote it probably weeks ago, so we’ll see……….

As stated by Jenny way back, it is just sixth grade not something to be expected to last forever. So for the most part these kids are just fooling around. We wont see how serious it gets till later.
