Yes, it does look like the end of a crescent wrench? My cat does like to lick my toes when she is waiting to be fed after I get up and sit on my bed for awhile. That always get me to go feed her, as she is a biter and so far she has not bitten my toes.
I thought cats’ tongues were like sandpaper, the better to clean with? so being licked would not be so much fun for a human. Of course if you’re a cat or a kitten, that’s another story.
