Transcript:
Reality Check Our 5 year mission: to boldly go where no man has gone before in a galaxy far, far away. Light sabers on stun! Kirk, use the force! Sigh, okay, I'll try to live long and prosper.. Do or do not... There is no try! I told you that you can't direct Star Wars and Star Trek! I find your lack of faith disturbing. Illogical this is! Must not... Talk... In dramatic... Pauses... Like... Kirk!

That’s OK, this was in Japanese. Wait until they re-dub it into English.

There should be a Star Trek/Star Wars crossover mini series in comic book form if Marvel Comics (owned by Disney, which also owns the Star Wars franchise and the long awaited 7th. Star Wars chapter “The Force Awakens” opens next month in movie theatres) and IDW (publishes Star Trek comic books) approve.

Federation ships can travel incredible distances in no time at all, as shown in Next Generation’s episode, “Where No Has Gone Before.” So if they use that technique again and go back in time as well, they might find themselves in Star Wars country (“long ago, in a galaxy far, far away”). Or they could just go with the Mel Brooks maneuver — break through the wall to the set next door (see “Blazing Saddles”).
