If you are a citizen no one is going to “strip” you of that right! What a ridiculous comment to make! A law like this would never get through any body in the congress.
What the Amendment’s author has said is irrelevant. It’s what the Amendment says, which is: "All persons born or naturalized in the United States, and subject to the jurisdiction thereof, are citizens of the United States and of the State wherein they reside. " Note: “All persons born in the United States are citizens of the United States.” That is what the U.S. Constitution says.
