This would be the point where Snoopy should learn to use the electric can opener. And don’t tell me it didn’t exist at that time, it was invented in the early ’30s, fell out of favor, then reintroduced in the mid ’50s.
However, some of Charlie Browns comments about cutting himself opening a can of dog food would indicate the manual types more than an electric on.
Made me think of a Richard Pryor routine. He was boxing and no matter how much he got hit in the face, he kept standing and taking more hits. His knees said, why should we fall, ain’t nobody hitting us? Something like that but when RP said it; was hilarious.
@Snoopy_FanThanks, Snoopy_Fan! It’s lovely to be back.-I’m not sure if you read the comments I was posting on Andy Capp every day when I was on my trip but me and my Mum had a look around the Yorkminister Cathedral in… You guessed it, York. The place was massive and very beautiful. At 12pm, an announcement came over the tannoy and it said that we should all stand still for a minute and pray for our loved ones who are no longer with us as well as the November 11 veterans. Me and my Mum prayed. After that my Mum started crying a bit and then I started blubbing too! I cried for longer than my Mum did. It was so emotional. -I wish you could have been there with us. You would have loved it.

Unfortunately, A lot of the trip involved trailing around the shops which I find boring. I can only take about an hour of walking around the shops. So you don’t need to worry. If we ever took a day trip anywhere, we wouldn’t be shopping. Because I take it you’re not a shopper either? I’m more into looking around museums and other points of interest.
Anyway, I’m sure you don’t want to spend your Friday (or Saturday) reading about my trip so I wish you a lovely weekend. I still think about you loads.

Keep em hungry, keep em mean, eh Charlie Brown?
Surely inside the Tardisdoghouse Snoopy has his own fridge and chef’s kitchen…and probably a wet bar!

Snoopy probably has Pizza Hut on speed dial.

Snoopy is a lover, not a fighter. Give him a break.

If either of our dogs and I had been face-to-face like that, I would have gotten a nose-lick and the discussion would have been over, decision: DOG.

Have the famous WWI fighter ace go on night patrol. Reports of the Red Baron doing night sorties will rile him up.

Snoopy’s worried look in the 3rd panel looks really cute for some reason.
