    maple syrup season.(frankincense syrup is pretty good too, but grows in warmer climates. Aaron ate frankincense syrup on pancakes in the Old Testament Bible.)

    The vampire part is because girdling, stripping a circle of bark, or de-barking a tree will kill the tree.Do beavers eat bark that maple syrup spills on?I know deer will eat bark that tastes salty from urine.
