“The Great and Secret Show: First Book of the Art” by Clive Barker is the first panel.“Instuctions” by Neil Gaiman is the second panel. The Complete Frank Miller Batman" is the third panel.and finally the Cats book is…“A first book of Quantum Field Theory (with Amitabha Lahiri)” (looks like the second edition), a beginner level book Quantum Field Theory..At least those would be my guesses for those books.
All I could think of was the scene from Men in Black when they’re testing the applicants and send them into the shooting gallery. The other applicants are shooting the aliens scattered all over the gallery but Will Smith holds his fire until the end when he shoots a little girl. When the agent doing the testing asks why Will explains why he didn’t shoot the aliens because he realized one was just doing his chin ups on a light post and another one has a cold and is just blowing his nose in an oversize tissue, then he gets to the little girl he shot and he points out that she’s carrying a book on Quantum mechanics, something obviously too sophisticated for a girl her age, and that made her the dangerous alien.

I’d feel better about the cats if they weren’t so focused on correcting the formulas. Is “Instructions” a user manual?
