It’s “whom will you be supporting . . . ,” not “who will you be supporting.” Poor writing. Better: “whom will you support.” Is it too much to expect decent grammar & diction?
Although the usage of “whom” is grammatically correct , the common, colloquial usage of “who” is acceptable in context. I have rarely heard a reporter ( or anyone else for that matter, aside from grammarians and English teachers ) properly use “whom” when asking oral questions.This is, afterall, a comic strip not English 101 !
