“Ha-ha” funny or “how odd” funny?

You expect important people to say important things, but nope, it’s all rather pedestrian.

Lynn’s Notes:*One thing I have never been good at is small talk at big parties. Some folks can rip into a crowd and have a great time chatting about trends, politics, and the weather…I’m more likely to say hello to the folks I need to talk to, then head for my hotel room and bed.

Politicans are great at talking a saying nothing. That way there are no promises than can creep around to bite them in the backside.

It is easy to speak of things that can be done using other people’s money. It is hard to decide on things to do with your own money.

Elly’s lousy budgeting will be trouble ahead; particularly for her job.
