It doesnā€™t look like Earlā€™s right.

Itā€™s the smell Earl. You may have become desensitized by it but others havenā€™t.

If you donā€™t sweat and donā€™t get dirty, thereā€™s nothing wrong with wearing the same OUTER clothes two days in a row. When I was a kid, my mother insisted that we do so. It was the normal thing to do then.

I donā€™t know about shirts, but I have a theory that bath towels never need washing. Under normal circumstances, the only thing they come in contact with is you, and only when youā€™re at the absolute cleanest you ever get to be, right out of the bath or shower. How can something get dirty if it never touches anything that isnā€™t clean?

They also become stiff because of the lime in the water.

I give my shirts a day of rest before wearing them again ā€“ then nobody can accuse me of wearing the same clothes 2 days in a row.

Earl, I agree with you. However, apparently others do not (including Roscoe). Give it up. Throw the clothes in the washer, jump in the shower and scrub with a loofa!

I think Opal has hidden some skunk in Earlā€™s dresser drawer.

How many of you wash(or dry clean) your trousers after 1 day of wear?

If Earl isnā€™t doing lots of physical activities to cause sweat, and so long as he at least changes his underwear, then his wearing the same clothes for 2 days in a row is hardly bad. Itā€™s when you start wearing them for the 3rd day, that it starts being a problemā€¦

ā€œā€¦. We are so removed from nature that we donā€™t even hear it scream.ā€~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

That is the most impressive pronouncement I have ever come across.! I will treasure it forever.

I do the same. I wear the same outfit for about 4 days at the most.

And I donā€™t care what anybody says.
