Personally designed and carved, John Renie's gravestone in Wales St. Mary's Priory church reads here lies John Renie 46,000 different ways. Colo, Iowa, teacher John Cisna lost 60 pounds by eating McDonald's three times a day for six months as part of a teaching lesson. A flamingo can only eat when its head is upside down.

Just how heavy WAS Mr. Cisna?

The Ripley’s bit on the teacher who ate McDonalds food for six months left out the fact that he ALSO ate healthy food and exercised significantly during that period. If he had consumed ONLY Mickey-D’s food and sodas for that half a year, then he most likely wouldn’t have come through it as well as he did.

Who was John Renie? It must’ve taken a lot of chiseling to get his gravestone to look like it does.

Maybe John Cisna lost weight by eating McDonald’s food with HIS head upside-down.

It looks to me like John Renie managed to get the last word in, even beyond the grave. I just want my tombstone to say, “Not my problem!”

Cisna looks like the Kingpin.

My favorite is something like, “She was a great baseball fan./She was a holy terror./Born a virgin./Died a virgin./No hits./No runs./No Errors.”

“The point is you are responsible for your health and not a restaurant chain.”
Exactly.

Cisna may have been inspired by the movie/doco ‘Supersize Me’.
