He failed to mention “Weapons of Mass Destruction”. What I don’t understand is why the West thinks the Middle East needs “liberating”. If they want “liberating”, let them liberate themselves.

This is the way the world works. Hermann Goering explained it from his prison cell at Nurenberg. “Tell them we are being attacked and the pacifists are helping the enemy.” “George Bush kept us safe,” same thing.

Or, as H. L. Mencken put it, “the whole aim of practical politics is to keep the populace alarmed (and hence clamorous to be led to safety) by menacing it with an endless series of hobgoblins, most of them imaginary.”

Sounds like Id might be in Texas.

Fink says, “In the meantime, draft some piece of garbage basically obfuscating the populace and take away almost all their basic rights and freedoms in the event we are attacked by terrorists!”

Sounds like the Fink is talking about the illegals.

Hillary would be proud.

Each of our three political leaders have no trouble identifying the other two as Canada’s greatest enemy. Fortunately by Tuesday it will all be over for a bit, while you poor souls have another year of it to go!
