    In the novel “The Minotaur Takes a Cigarette Break”, the Minotaur wound up working in a steak house down in the American South. He carves and serves the prime rib off the trolley, in the dining room. His bull’s head is an effective marketing device.

    (Good book; rather Gaimanesque. The Minotaur’s backstory is that he struck a deal with Theseus, to get them both safely out of the labyrinth, 3000 years or so ago. Since he’s immortal, he’s been wandering around ever since, picking up restaurant work where he can get it. He’d always been good with knives, and in three millennia he’s realized that, if you can cook, you can ALWAYS find a job.)
