I agree, that is why a lot of movies are duds. They show all the good stuff in the trailer so why go? Spielberg had a series on TV and he begged the network NOT to do previews but they did and the show didn’t last very long. The surprise was gone.
Or in the words of Frederick Frankenstein: Let me out. Let me out of here. Get me the #$ out of here. What's the matter with you people? I was joking! Don't you know a joke when you hear one? HA-HA-HA-HA. Jesus Christ, get me out of here! Open this #%$&# door or I’ll kick your rotten heads in! Mommy!
This is an arbitrary placement of this comment just because, it’s the most up-to-date strip. I join all you folks who spoke up saying they were Happy and Thrilled that BB had returned Bloom County to its happy & lucky admirers. I only found this out a month or so ago and, having been too overworked until now, I haven’t been able to catch up until now. I waited for a day off and… I “Binged Every Episode!” WAY better than “binge-watching” ANYthing on TV! SO, SO, SO Happy to see Bloom County’s return!I’d also read every comment each of you have made until now and, I just wanted to say that ALL of you as a group, managed to Perfectly & Completely capture every thought & feeling I had about it and I’m find myself in 100% agreement with all of you.Opus Van Winkle returning after a 25-year-sleep to discover Sudsy Nuns on something called “The Internet,” perfectly illustrates how much the times & society have changed in the mere 25 years since Bloom County had retired. Also, Cozy telling her daughter Abby about the “Funnies”… perfect encapsulation of that time passing and why we have to turn to “That Internet,” to find the works of Berke Breathed… as the newspapers are… …SOME where… where are they, actually?

I think I saw a pic of him in it with a long white beard, looking very much like Obi-Wan Kenobi.

Amazing Stories? That’s the only TV project I know of that Spielberg had the most direct hand in running.
